So… every week, I host a comic jam on campus. It’s a casual meetup for comic/cartoon fans and creators to come hang out, get advice and critique on their work, and most importantly: Comic Jamming!
Comic Jam meets are something I used to do back at SCAD. Basically, you meet up with a bunch of cool people, give everyone a blank piece of paper and a pen, and have everyone draw one comic panel. It doesn’t matter what it’s about, it can be anything! Then, pass it to the next person, and they continue the story. It doesn’t take long for it to get really, really weird. But it’s always hilarious. And sometimes grotesque. (Especially in my hands… sorry guys.) Pictured above are some little gems from tonight.
People of any drawing level can participate in comic jam! You should give it a try sometime.
